Rex Brown of Kill Devil Hill Interviews with Goetia Media Interviews Bassist Rex Brown

Rex Brown, the bassist of Kill Devil Hill (formerly of  Down/Pantera) recently interviewed with Jorge Fretes of Goetia Media. The band is currently touring North America following their self-titled debut album release on May 22nd via Steamhammer/SPV. The tour is a bit extensive, as they have been touring since August. The newly formed band is a supergroup consisting of strong melodies, great hooks, & killer production from experienced, hard-hitting musicians.

Producer Warren Riker is responsible for the dynamic sound of “Kill Devil Hill”. Riker has an incredible history, working with bands such as Down, Cathedral, Corrosion of Conformity, & Sublime. Appice has stated the band’s sound as being “like a cross between Black Sabbath and a little bit of Led Zeppelin thrown in.
