A Quick Update

I can see a new life for myself on the horizon. I feel myself growing into adulthood. And since more people are reading this now than what I once presumed, I want you all to know that I’m okay. I have my rough patches as we all do but I feel that something big is going to shift and unexpected turns in good directions will be taken. Life is like a roller coaster. It takes you high and low and is full of surprises, it thrills you and shows you the world as it always was just from a different perspective. Then it’s over before you know it. Anyone who reads this is thereby supporting me and I want to thank you tremendously for your support.

Get Inspiration Anywhere…

I just needed to take a moment from my day to let you know that you should seek inspiration from anywhere, but be specific when you are creative. Anything can inspire. A smile from a baby with no teeth can make you feel warm inside and make you say “Hey, today must be a beautiful day because this child sure is enjoying it. I think I feel like painting this.” Now that may not happen exactly but you get the idea. I am a musician but I am most definitely inspired by architecture and fashion. It fascinates me. I allow it to fascinate me. Allow yourself to be amazed by the “little” joys in life even if it may seem silly. Some days I just allow myself to pretend as if I am experiencing certain things for the very first time. It definitely keeps things new and fresh for me.

Secondly is creativity. When it is time to take that inspiration that you derived from God knows where, get focused. Get alone if you need to. I simply cannot create beautiful things in certain environments. For example if I am at home in my living room with my family, I can’t write music. I need to be alone. If I am around other musicians who are also writing, I need them to be silent. Your surroundings and the people around you have energy which affects your energy. Your energy determines what you do and what you attract. So how are you feeling right now? Happy? Determined? Exhausted? That is exactly what you are bringing into your life then.

Draw inspiration from anywhere. Be creative somewhere.

Kyocera kinetic flexible OLED cell phone

Welcome to the new my friends. This is a premature unveiling of Kyocera’s new kinetic flexible OLED cell phone. The Kyocera EOS can be used in its folded-up shape for simple phone calls, unfolds to reveal a wide screen, and we were excited to hear that the it derives its energy from human interaction. The more you use the phone, the more kinetic energy is turned into an electric charge through an array of tiny piezoelectric generators. In other words, you’ll never have to worry about leaving the house with a semi-charged cell phone again.

The EOS is still in the early design stage, but Kyocera teams in San Diego and Bangalore hope to integrate concepts from the device into cell phone lineups in the near future. Maybe future versions of the EOS will follow Samsung and LG’s lead and use solar power in addition to kinetic energy.
